Program workshop

Loyalty program workshop

A working session with your marketing, CRM, finance and store teams to agree the goal, the program model and a draft business case, before you commit to a platform.

What you leave with

A plum table seen from above with blank mint cards arranged in rows, two plum markers and a mint hourglass
  • A one-page program goal and target audience

  • A recommended program model, with the alternatives considered

  • A draft business case with its assumptions

  • A first list of platform requirements for vendor selection

Inside the workshop

  1. Before the session

We review your current program or plans, the data you have and your goals, and agree who needs to be in the room.

  2. Goal and audience

Together we agree the one behavior the program must change and the customers it is for.

  3. Model and mechanics

We compare points, tiers, member pricing, paid membership and personalized offers against your goal and margins.

  4. Business case

We draft the cost of rewards, platform and people next to the change you expect, with every assumption written down.

Where loyalty projects usually stall

  • Teams disagree on what the program is for, so every feature request looks equally important.
  • The program model is chosen from a vendor demo rather than from how your customers behave.
  • Finance sees the cost of rewards late, after the design is already fixed.
  • Nobody owns the numbers the program will be judged on.

Questions about this service

Who should attend the workshop?

The people who will own the program and the people who will pay for it: marketing or loyalty, CRM or data, finance, and someone who knows your stores or customer service. A small group that can make decisions works better than a large audience.

Do we need an existing loyalty program?

No. The workshop works for a first program and for teams replacing or redesigning an existing one. For an existing program, we start from what it does today and what the data says about it.

Is the workshop tied to a particular loyalty vendor?

No. We take no referral fees, commissions or paid placements, so the program model and the requirements follow your goal, not a vendor's product.

What happens after the workshop?

You keep the goal, the recommended model, the draft business case and the first requirements list. Many teams take those straight into platform selection, on their own or with our RFP management or vendor matching services.
