At a glance

Tango is a rewards and payouts service for sending digital and physical gift cards, prepaid cards, cash payouts and charity donations to customers, employees and research participants. Businesses send rewards through a free self-serve web portal, an API, or integrations with business software, and can also order cards in bulk or set up a custom incentive program. Blackhawk Network owns Tango and has folded it into its own rewards platform, while still selling it under the Tango name.

Questions to take
to a demo

  1. Now that Tango runs on the BHN platform, which contract, support team and API version would a new US customer be on?
  2. Which fees apply beyond the free portal, for example funding by credit card, international rewards, prepaid cards or physical cards?
  3. How does the points solution work, and could it replace a separate loyalty points engine for a small program?
  4. What happens to unredeemed Reward Link balances, and do any expiration or inactivity rules apply to recipients?
  5. What do your Salesforce and HubSpot integrations do out of the box, and what needs Zapier or Workato?
